Bren Dismuke’s interest in making jewelry began in childhood. She would make necklaces and bracelets for herself and her dolls by tying together long stems of clover flowers. And, from strands of weeping willow tree fronds, she would make necklaces, bracelets and grass skirts. Then in her teen years she made the macrame jewelry that was so popular in the 70’s. From there her interests moved into beadwork. Which was in part sparked by the beauty and richness of the precision cut Swarovski Crystals and the vast variety of natural stones available today.
Bren loves to hike, backpack, practices yoga, does pencil portraits and logo art, painting, photographs wildlife and landscapes, where ever her travels take her. And, a new interest is work in fused glass and stained glass work.
Bren donates a generous portion of her profits to charities such as but not limited to: Habitat for Humanity, Food banks, and animal shelters.
She is a Master Naturalist and currently splits her time between Arizona and Idaho.
